when i went off to college (all of 30 miles away from my parents’ house), i came home every weekend so my mom could teach me how to cook.

fast forward thirteen years.

i got married. i got to stay home with my baby girl for a year. i got divorced. the friends i have kept throughout this crazy thing that is life seem to love food and music like i do.

i’m confident enough in my abilities with tex-mex, italian, and traditional american holiday fare. new adventures in the silly bitch kitchen include mediterranean, thai, and french food.

oh, and baking. i am a weak, weak baker.

my sous chef’s name is sophie.
